The CMC

In the beginning of the Nineties, God sent a graduate of several theological universities, named Marek Kiewra to Gryfow Slaski, Poland. God put in his heart a vision to start a church in this small town. In 2003 the church in Gryfow already had a renovated building of its own seating 160 people. At the time there were about 100 people attending Sunday worship services. 



Then in pastor Marek’s heart a new vision started to arise. He carried it for many years. God was calling Pastor Marek Kiewra to build a Mission Conference Center where groups of pastors and leaders from the region could come for retreats and develop spiritually, deepen their knowledge, build relationships and rest.

Then God started to open doors for the vision to be fulfilled. God brought to the church a co-owner of a Hotel, “Nad Jeziorem” (By The Lake), who were struggling with financial problems and for a time already tried to sell their property along with 14,8 acres of adjacent land.

 

The CMC 


This place had a very bad reputation in the community. The Hotel had fallen upon hard times and was being used by the local mafia for a meeting place. The hotel was the site where all kinds of evil activities took place i.e. women trade, drugs, weapons, smuggling, and prostitution. The government twice raided the Hotel. A 120-trooper anti-terrorist Squad with snipers and helicopters from Wroclaw surrounded the hotel to get the criminal offenders arrested.

Those events caused the hotel to be passed by and left aside by tourists and the Hotel was facing bankruptcy. In all of those events one could see the hand of God, which snatched this beautiful place from many years of powerful service to the devil into mighty service of the Kingdom of God. From the period of 2003-2005 the property was thoroughly rebuilt,


The CMC  Modernized and expanded to shine with beauty, functionality and is now a jewel of highest standards.

The CMC Our Goal for a Mission Conference Center became a reality in January 2006 when the Mission Conference center hosted its first conference.

The Hotel (now Mission Conference Center) once again gained respect and popularity in the community and the region.

Mission Conference Center is always striving to improve it’s facilities and be equipped with sports gear and our recreational fields, football courts, tennis courts, jogging tracks, horse riding trails and children playground are being developed and improved on a regular basis.
All this is being completed to make our guest stay, more attractive.
